CHUCK E. CHEESE NIGHT IS THURSDAY (May 17): From 3 p.m. until closing on Thursday, 15 percent of all Chuck E. Cheese's purchases at 3223 N. Rock Road are donated to Price-Harris. So have dinner and fun at CEC! Tell your friends! Tell your neighbors! Tell your friends' neighbors!

DANCING WITH THE STARS, PRICE-HARRIS STYLE: Thanks to the approximately 100 couples of daddies and daughters who attended Friday night's Spring Fling at Price-Harris. They danced, danced and danced some more and had a blast. Thanks for attending and thanks to Melissa Ross and her committee for putting on a terrific dance!

THANKS TO LOVE WICHITA FOR ITS WORK AT SCHOOL: Be sure to notice the wonderful work done by volunteers on Saturday. Among the projects:

-- Blue awnings above two doorways were repainted. Thanks, Mr. Springer!

-- Volunteers put in new plants and a bunch of mulch immediately north of the third- and fourth-grade doors. New plants were also put in around the memorial tree.

-- New principal Mr. Saunders and others used a dirt-and-sand mixture to raise the level of the tetherball courts so they don't stay muddy as long after rains.

-- Sand that drifts over the north edge of the playground was returned into the playground.

-- The bike racks have a new coat of paint.

Thanks to parent Mike Scolari for heading up the project and thanks to all the volunteers!
